Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix has revealed that the band are about to begin work on the 'album of their career'.

SO excited!

This will be their eighth album. Shaddix said the band are "Opening their minds and listening to a broad range of music from metal to electronic to reggae and soaking up all the inspiration."

ALSO, he added that the new album will be "aggressive and uplifting" as well as "out of the norm" and different to their previous, nu-metal skewed work.

 

James Michael, who fronts Sixx: AM with Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx, will be producing the album.

 

ETA?? Late 2012.
