Contest Rules

Eligibility Restrictions:

Contests are open to all WRBR listeners who are 18 years of age or older, some contests may require listeners to be 21 years of age or older.

Listeners are eligible to win a WRBR contest only once every 30 days. Listeners are eligible to win a prize from WRBR valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months.

Valid state identification (ex. Driver’s License/Identification Card) is required to claim a prize or participate in any contest. Winners will be required to show proof of identity when claiming a prize.

Prizes:

Any prize or certificate not claimed within thirty days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. In the event that a prize or certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival. WRBR, Federated Media and its counterparts are not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate.

Employees of WRBR, Federated Media, the licensee, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Michiana metropolitan area and the members of their immediate households are ineligible to participate or win.

Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

When the prize consists of admission to a concert or ticketed event and the event is postponed, rained out, or cancelled, WRBR, Federated Media will not be responsible for replacing the prize.

Conditions:

Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. Prizes awarded to winners will be reported, if required, on IRS Form 1099 or the equivalent, and a winner of a prize valued at more than $600 may be required to acknowledge the prize valuation at the time of award.

By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, picture or other likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

Contest winners will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600.00 or greater or where prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by WRBR. Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold WRBR, its corporate licensee and all officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or contest.

By participating in station contests, you acknowledge that you shall receive a text message to your phone advising you if you won or lost. This message may lead you to incur standard text messaging rates/other charges may apply consistent with your Wireless Carrier plan.

By participating in a text club (i.e. News Alerts, School Closings, Real Rockaholic text club etc), you acknowledge that you shall receive text messages to your phone at the station’s discretion. WRBR, its affiliates, and its parent company are not responsible for system failure, acts of God or natural disasters.

WRBR reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest in its sole determination and necessary changes may be made at any point in time during the contest without prior notice. Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.

Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualifications at the discretion of WRBR.

WRBR-FM “Where the Hell is my Harley” Official Contest Rules

March 11, 2011

1.   How to participate in the contest:
a.   Starting each Monday, March 7, 2011 until February 20, 2012, listen for the on the Jason Lee & Kluck Morning Show on Mondays for the “Kluck Index”. One (1) item will be termed the “Hoosier Harley Index”. Listeners will then be prompted at any time during 6a EST until 11p EST to call back and correctly identify the “Hoosier Harley Index” number and topic for that day. The caller who correctly identifies this will be qualified for the “Where the Hell is my Harley” promotion.
b.   Secondly, any listener 18 years of age and older can fill out a registration blank at Hoosier Harley Davidson in Elkhart for a chance to be qualified.

2.   Eligibility/Restriction:
a.   The contest is open to all WRBR-FM (103.9 The Bear) listeners who are 18 years of age and older. You must have a valid social security number to play.

Employees of WRBR, Talking Stick Communications, all other Media outlets, affiliated entities, their affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors, promotional companies involved in this promotion, as well as family and household members of the same, are ineligible to participate or win.
d.   Listeners are eligible to win a WRBR contest only once every 30 days. Listeners are eligible to win a prize from WRBR valued at $600.00 or more only once every six (6) months.
e.   All qualifiers must be present at the grand prize drawing event at Hoosier Harley Davidson in Elkhart, Indiana on Saturday, February 25, 2012.
f.   The grand prize winner will be randomly selected from all the qualified entrants in a way yet to be determined.
g.   You may only qualify once for the grand prize drawing. Winning multiple times throughout the contesting dates will not increase your qualifying chances.
h.   Qualifying and grand prizes are not transferable. Neither may be substituted for or redeemed for cash. Winners, including the grand prize winner, have thirty (30) days to claim their prize.
i.   Odds of winning are based on the actual number of qualifiers who attend the grand prize drawing event.

3.   How the Contest Works:
a.   All successfully qualified winners on-air and at Hoosier Harley Davidson will have a chance to win the grand prize.
b.   All successfully qualified winners will be notified by a phone call or voice message before the event.
c.   Registration will be required the day of the event at a time yet to be determined. You must be present and registered for a chance to win.

4.   Prizes:
a.   The Grand Prize includes:
i.   One (1) 2011 Black and Chrome Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle from Hoosier Harley Davidson in Elkhart valued at an amount to be determined.
ii.   Also, $1,000 upgrade package will be awarded to the grand prize winner.
b.   Other prizes are yet to be determined.

5.   Conditions/Disqualification

WRBR-FM, Talking Stick Communications, and their affiliated Media outlets, parent and affiliated companies, officers, directors, partners, managers, stockholders, owners, employees, agents, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors and promotional companies (collectively “The Station”) is not responsible for any failure or inability to participate in the contest, whether due to telephone difficulties, radio reception difficulties, any form of equipment malfunction, busy lines or any other cause whatsoever.
f.   Decisions of The Station with respect to the contest are final and biding in all respects on all participants.
